TEACHING

Extensive experience teaching to people of all ages. For almost a decade, I have taught middle and high school students, undergraduates and adults in a number of capacities. I have taught with various nonprofits through the model of experiential-based learning; at the University of Texas at Austin as a full-time lecturer; and public schools in Maine. 

TUTORING

As the pandemic and emerging work from home culture continues to destabilize traditional learning environments, I am available for one-on-one or micro-group learning in online or in-person forums. I create a nurturing, productive environment that encourages academic and creative growth.

WORKSHOPS

Creative writing workshops can foster both community building and professional development. I design and facilitate workshops focused on community expression, growth and vulnerability, as well as the refinement of literary skills. I have led workshops in a variety of community groups, including queer youth, formerly incarcerated individuals and senior citizens.
